About the Book:
When their father goes off to war and their mother falls ill, Sarah and Lily are left to their own devices. Playing in their yard, the girls are amazed to find real-life fairies at a miniature market place under some bushes, but when Lily suddenly disappears with the fairies, Sarah must follow her into the magical fairy world. Written by a deployed U.S. soldier for his children, the story demonstrates the strength of will of family members left behind.
